Audition Information

If you are passionate about singing choral music and are looking for a satisfying choral experience, we would love to hear from you! If you are interested in auditioning with us, please email our Director, Toni Myers at ameliaislandsingers@gmail.com. Please include your name, street address, phone number, and email address in the email. Toni will be in touch in August 2024 with more information. Annual auditions are typically held in August before our season begins, however, auditions could be scheduled during the season on a case-by-case basis. Rehearsals for our 2024/25 season will begin on September 9, 2024.

There are no annual fees to sing with Amelia Island Singers, although singers are required to purchase their music, provide a black music folder, and an all-black concert outfit. A scholarship process is available upon request for singers who have successfully completed the audition process and face difficulties meeting these financial requirements. Currently full-time students who are registered for classes and who have passed the audition process qualify for a scholarship covering the cost of music. 

Amelia Island Singers perform two programs each year, one in the fall and one in the spring, with multiple performances of each concert. Rehearsals are held every Monday evening (7:00 – 9:00 pm) at Amelia Plantation Chapel,  36 Bowman Rd, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.
